Marriage, moving house, and a whole life packed into cardboard boxes on wheels.
I designed the set for Jama'at Abu al-Shaker, a satirical comedy by Nidal Badarneh that mixes humour, suspense and social messages. The play is about the hardships of getting married and moving house, so the set was made mainly of cardboard boxes on wheels. It was produced by Al-Masrah Al-Qarawi, the Village Theatre in Tamra, and opened at Sard Theatre in Haifa in July 2024. It has toured since, including Tamra and the community center in Majd al-Krum in November 2025.
